Aim of the International Convention

The theme of International Convention 2026 is “Global Corridors, Collaboration Excellence”.

Through various insightful presentations from leading figures in the industry, fruitful advice sharing from major leaders over discussion forums as well as inspiring technical visits in the four-day Convention, participants will be able to learn latest development, viable strategies and key information in devising their sensible approaches, both in transport and logistics, for embracing the Belt and Road Initiative advocated by China, especially their possible access to and collaborations in the Greater Bay Area of Chinese Mainland. The Convention also offers excellent opportunities for exploring viable collaborations among participants.

We have great honour to announce that The Honorable John KC Lee, GBM, SBS, PDSM, PMSM – The Chief Executive of The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is our Guest of Honour of the International Convention 2026 and, Ms Mable Chan, JP – Secretary for Transport and Logistics is our Keynote Speaker of the International Convention 2026.

CILT is the world’s leading organisation for professionals in logistics, transportation and supply chain. With our global community, we are creating the deeper intelligence needed for our world’s future.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) is the professional body for those engaged in various sectors of transport and logistics, including air, sea and land, for both passengers and freight transportation. The Chartered Institute of Transport (CIT) was formed in the United Kingdom in 1919 as the Institute of Transport and became a Chartered Institute in 1926. The Institute first set up the Hong Kong Branch in 1968 and it was upgraded to the Hong Kong Section in 1972. On 1 October 1991, the Hong Kong Section was upgraded to National Council status and renamed as the Chartered Institute of Transport in Hong Kong (CITHK). This change gave CITHK the authority to handle all Institute matters independently.
